Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-14
This page expands on section 9 of our Privacy Policy, which is the governing notice for the Sites.
17.1 What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small key–value files a website stores in your browser. They are sent back with each request and are used to keep state. They can be first-party (our domain) or third-party, and session or persistent.
17.2 Cookies We Use
We use an essential cookie that always operates to remember your consent choice. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics cookies to measure site usage and improve the service. We do not use personalization or advertising cookies. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and you can still use the site.
| Name / Category | Purpose | Expiry | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
mpc_cookie_consent | Stores your accept/decline choice | 180 days | Essential (first-party) |
mpc_ops_promo | Remembers that you closed the Field Operations announcement so it is not shown again | 21 days | Functional (first-party) |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes visitors and sessions to measure site usage | Up to 24 months | Analytics (set only on consent) |
The media kit also keeps a daily download count in your browser’s local storage (brand-bundle-downloads, brand-asset-downloads) to limit repeated downloads. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a decline: analytics cookies are not set, and the consent banner is not shown.
17.3 Third-Party Requests
We load web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). This does not set cookies, but your IP address is shared with Google to deliver the fonts.
We use Google Analytics 4 (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com) to measure site usage. It is not loaded until you accept: before that, the site sends nothing to Google Analytics and stores nothing on your device for it. After you accept, it sets the analytics cookies listed above; advertising and personalization signals stay off. IP addresses are truncated by Google and are not stored. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which set no cookies. They record page views and page-loading performance (page URL, referrer, country, browser, operating system, device type) as aggregate statistics. Visitors are distinguished by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and IP addresses are not stored. See Vercel's Web Analytics privacy notes.
17.4 Withdrawing Consent
You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser; the consent banner will reappear.
