MPC (Mineral Project Coin): What It Is, What It Is Not, and Where to Check the Facts

A plain reference for anyone who searched "MPC" and found more than one answer

MPC Team, globalMPC6 min read

If you searched for "MPC" in a crypto context, you probably found several unrelated things. This piece is the MPC (Mineral Project Coin) team's attempt to give one stable reference: what the project is, what stage it is at, what its token would and would not be, and where the primary sources live. Everything below is taken from material already published on globalmpc.tech.

First, which MPC?

"MPC" is an overloaded term. In cryptography it commonly refers to multi-party computation. On market data sites, several unrelated projects use the ticker symbol $MPC. Our project is MPC (Mineral Project Coin), and its intended on-chain token name is Mineral Project Coin.

This matters for a practical reason. Our Terms of Use state directly that the ticker alone does not identify this token. If you see a chart, a token page or a contract address labelled "MPC", that is not evidence it relates to Mineral Project Coin. We will come back to how to verify this below.

What MPC (Mineral Project Coin) is

MPC is a mining real-world asset (RWA) infrastructure platform. It connects mining project data, professional verification and structured digital records, to help institutions review mining assets and prepare for on-chain issuance.

The whitepaper starts from a gap rather than a token. Mineral resources sit underneath energy, manufacturing, batteries and semiconductors, yet the records used to evaluate a mining project — exploration records, drilling data, test and assay results, technical reports, verification materials — are scattered across many formats and institutions. In that structure, it is hard to trace consistently where a piece of data came from, who verified it, when it was verified and how it has changed since.

Blockchain can strengthen the integrity and traceability of data. It cannot, by itself, verify whether a physical mine or a technical report is accurate. The whitepaper sums this up in one line: tokenization alone does not create trust. MPC is designed to sit in that gap. You can read the full opening chapter at globalmpc.tech/docs.

The four-step framework

MPC organises its work as Verify → Structure → Tokenize → Manage.

  • Verify. Mining data is connected to the review processes of competent persons (CPs), technical experts and relevant professional institutions. MPC does not replace their judgement; it records the subject, the verifier, the date and the status of each verification.
  • Structure. Verified information becomes a traceable digital record that links data source, verification status, hash, timestamp and version history.
  • Tokenize. A verified, structured project can be connected to smart contract and registry infrastructure — but only once that project's own legal and asset structure is in place. The rights behind any asset token are defined by the project's contracts and jurisdiction, not by MPC's infrastructure.
  • Manage. After issuance, new data, re-verification and status changes are linked back to the existing record, so the record does not freeze at the moment of issuance.

The chapter that walks through these steps is at globalmpc.tech/docs/solution/mpc-solution.

What stage the project is at

We want to be specific here, because this is where confusion usually starts.

  • The platform is in the design and build stage.
  • The Mineral Project Coin token is designed as the project's utility token on BNB Smart Chain. It has not been issued and remains at the Pre-TGE stage.
  • No token contract address has been published. On our site, the contract is shown as "Coming Soon".
  • The application and waitlist portal at app.globalmpc.tech is live and operates separately from the token.
  • The dApp guide's MVP page lists what the first product will include — project and verification registries, a public explorer, a registry proof on BNB Chain, a Mongolia jurisdiction profile — and states that nothing in that list is deployed on-chain yet. It also lists what is deliberately absent: until the legal structure is confirmed, no purchase, subscription, transfer or custody function is built, hidden or otherwise. See globalmpc.tech/dapp/mvp.

What the token would not be

When the token is issued, it is designed to function as an access and governance utility tool within the software ecosystem. Holding it would not convey equity ownership, voting rights in a corporate entity, fractional ownership of physical minerals, or a direct claim to mining revenue or production outputs.

The whitepaper draws the line in three parts: MPC token ≠ mining asset ≠ asset token. If a specific mining project is ever represented by an asset token, its issuer would be defined per project (for example a project-specific SPV or another eligible entity), and that token's rights would be set by its own legal structure. The business model chapter adds a fourth line: platform revenue is not token-holder rights. The full notice is in the whitepaper's Important Notice chapter.

Who is behind it

The project entity is Bolor Geo MPC Corp. (Panama). Software development and technical architecture are provided by Bolor Geo SG Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) as a technical contractor. Bolor Geo LLC is an independent mining counterparty that holds exploration licence XV-022460 for the Mongolian reference project. The officers and the seven functions the team is organised into are listed at globalmpc.tech/team.

The first reference case

Tsagaan Tolgoi, in Mongolia, is at the exploration stage. Bolor Geo LLC holds the exploration licence. Commercial production has not started, and no production or mining licence has been obtained. Bolor Geo MPC Corp. does not hold the licence, the land title or the mine. Tsagaan Tolgoi is the first reference case for the infrastructure — not the product itself. Field updates are published on the Operations page.

How to verify anything you read about MPC

  1. Use the full name. Search for "MPC (Mineral Project Coin)", not the ticker.
  2. Check the contract address only on globalmpc.tech. When the token is issued, the verified address and network details will be published there and can be confirmed on a public block explorer. Until then, treat any address shared elsewhere as unverified.
  3. Use the official channels only. They are the website (www.globalmpc.tech), the app portal (app.globalmpc.tech), X (@MPC_Global_X), Telegram (t.me/official_mpc_global), Medium (medium.com/@globalmpc2026), LinkedIn (linkedin.com/company/globalmpc) and mpc@globalmpc.tech.
  4. Expect no DMs asking for funds. MPC representatives never start direct, unsolicited contact asking for funds, transaction signatures or security credentials.

The short version of all of this lives on our FAQ page, and the roadmap — with its caveat that future milestones remain subject to technical readiness, legal review and applicable regulation — is at globalmpc.tech/roadmap.
